Halloween Jack is probably the best for me just because it's such a unique sleeper, a gem for us 3D lovers! I never would've thought a micro budget indie flick like this would be so much fun and the 3D is reference level... pop-outs galore. I know I said all this before but the 80s synth soundtrack is so nice, and the opening titles that pay homage to Friday the 13th III are so much fun.

Agreed. Halloween Jack 3D is a pleasant surprise.
It looks more like video than film, but the stereopsis is smartly accomplished.
I enjoyed the 1980s nostalgia of it, too.
I'll be keeping up with this 3D filmmaker.

I really like Silent Madness. It's a terrible movie on the one hand but so much fun on the other. The 3D restoration was terrific, too. Jaws 3-D was the first 3D movie I saw in the movies, so it holds a special spot for me, too. I enjoyed Parasite (1982) far more than I expected to.

For old school, you can't beat House of Wax, The Maze or Creature From the Black Lagoon.

I honestly don't think it's bad for an 80s slasher with one really big caveat - the music is terrible. Music makes or breaks these kinds of movies pretty often and the score in Silent Madness is bad enough that it sucks away any potential tension or suspense. It might have worked better if the soundtrack were literally silent.

It's been a while, but I was impressed how much the 3D enhanced a sense of claustrophobia during all that crawling around in the air shaft toward the end.

Oh, please understand. I am not knocking the film at all. I suppose it is better than some of its competitors. Certainly, for me, it's more fun. For instance, I like this one much better than Friday the 13th Part 3 (I might be the only one person in the world like that but...). But is a pretty silly movie. Most of the cast is hilariously over the top, especially the two orderlies. The plot is a mashup of Halloween and Friday the 13th but on a college campus and almost all the horror is in broad daylight. The kills and gimmick shots are silly/funny. I mean, how can you not laugh at the cartoon axe or the orderly getting the drill in the head? I do agree that the music leaves a lot to be desired.

All that said, I absolutely love this movie. It's one of my favorite 80s 3D movies. I showed it to my friend and her daughter a while back and the daughter literally said "thank you for exposing me to that. It's a masterpiece."

Well said, kiddo. Well said.

Silent Madness was definitely more fun than Friday the 13th Part III.

I've been looking at the German 3D Blu-ray's. Found a 3D Box Set Films 1-3 of Cabin Fever. 1st is Eli Roth (all 3 to me were good). I got Eli Roth remake of his called "The New Outbreak in 3D". Also picked up "Clown 3D" another Eli Roth film.

Honestly the Cabin Fever Series is Fun, regardless being crappy German 3D auto conversions. I own tons of those German 3D Auto's. My specialty is to stream anything 3D on Bigscreen VR. My Fav is Horror B-Movies, we have fun in VR rifting on Bad Movies as an audience

I like the Cabin Fever series so I bought those autoconversions but they are not at all good. Clown I only have in 2D, I don't generally buy autoconversions any more, they are a complete waste of money.
