What more can be told about Jason Bourne? In Ultimatum, he remembered everything… in Jason Bourne… he remember more about his dad/recruitment… just let the guy live. How many more CIA folk will have to chase after him? It’s like a sports team signing a guy who has been with 6-7 teams in a short period of timing thinking “we’ll be the ones to get the most out of him.” Nope.

Although, I think if they move forward, they need some A+ actor like Meryl or Clooney as the CIA guy/gal just so I can hear him/her say “That’s Jason Bourne!”

Jason Bourne was meh. Good action, indifferent plot, and overall pointless. Not sure what a 6th will bring to the table. Damon isn't exactly a spring chicken.

Disclaimer: Not crying, just mildly perplexed that they'd bother at this point.

I liked all the previous entries, so I'll probably watch this one. As for Damon's age, its important to note that Jason was active into old age in the books, so he's still got a few years left.

And I may be the minority, but I dug the hell out of Bourne Legacy and thought Renner was solid as Aaron Cross. I'd rather see more of him.

Well, the first three books written by Robert Ludlum had Bourne face off against real-world terrorist Ilich Ramírez Sánchez, a.k.a. Carlos the Jackal. This element was retained for the 1988 TV movie based on the first book, but Doug Liman and Universal chose to leave him out for the modern films, not wanting to shine any more of a spotlight on Carlos' real-life misdeeds.

Bourne movies only have old white guys as the CIA Heads trying to stop Bourne.

I wonder who will be next. There was Tommy Lee Jones, Stacy Keach, Brian Cox... next is either going to be:

De Niro
John Lithgow
Harrison Ford
Chris Plummer passed away.

Who else would be up there. Maybe Ian McShane? Eastwood too old.

Never did watch the last one. Looked pretty meh. Huge fan of the first 3 and thought Legacy was decent. Hopefully this one is good.
