The worst part of the episode

[Show spoiler]for me though was the final fight scene. I think it was just bad editing. Very choppy with weird cuts. Could barely get a sense of what was going on

Half way though S2, I think I prefer S1 more, but, that could be due to me liking the source material of S2 more than S1 some I’m pickier.

I wont say its the worst....bbut I did like the style of fighting choreography, but the editing was off. They let you see Reacher do his thing but his teammates we re shot quickly and only given their finishing shots. They show struggle but its was kinda herky jerky without the tension of a Daredevil close contact drama.

The headbut to the elbow(arm-snappin at that connection) is something Ive never seen before.

I don’t know… this season just isn’t appealing to me. I enjoyed the first season, and have read all the books. This season just feels like “meh.”

I’m still not sure why the writers decided to blow through the majority of the book within the first two episodes only to add in filler scenes like the

Yeah, I’m not loving this season. It’s not bad. I like the team, and it has its moments, but something’s missing. The season just seems drawn out. I don’t like Robert Patrick as the villain. He doesn't seem like a threat to me at all. The CGI blood is really lame and undercuts the action. I wish they could just use practical effects. Hopefully, the last three episodes end strong.

[Show spoiler]I think they were local hitman. More like amateurs than professionals like the guy Patrick’s character is trying to sell the missiles to. Patrick’s character doesn’t seem like he knows what he’s doing with hiring local guys (the bikers) to take out a team of trained soldiers. You would think Swan would have told them this if he was working for them.

Eh, I'm enjoying season 2. But it's definitely not up to par with season 1. I like the more down to earth smaller scale of that storyline.

First season way better but I like this one as well.

I think the affect from the shootings lack a lot of authenticity. Both look and sounds like they use bb guns. Would like it to be a bit more realistic. But hey, maybe that's the whole point.

I know I’ve said it a few times already, but, the action sequences this season are just brutal to watch - and not in a good way.

I think it’s a weird combo of bad editing and bad fight choreography which leads to it looking “cheap.” I saw somewhere that the budget for the season was around $120 million…. Or 15 million or each of the 8 episodes which is comparable to Mandolorian. Which leads me to ask - where is the money going in Reacher? There is obviously a ton more CGI work needed for Mando.

I don’t get it. Maybe Disney is saving a ton working on a sound stage with the Volume (I think that’s what ILM calls it, right?) versus Reacher which isn’t on a sound stage?

Obviously, as in episode 7, you can’t have an actor

[Show spoiler]throwing scissors at someone’s face. Most productions now would CGI it, but, Reacher went with a couple jump cuts (actor seen throwing scissors across rom cuts to different actor (with scissors already in their face) reacting and

it just doesn’t flow. Just CGI it. Right? There was also a moment in E7 where it seemed like a few frames were removed to generate more “impact” if that makes sense. I know that’s worked on different movies and such, but, again, here, it just doesn’t.

I also think there are some issues with the choreography of the fights. Maybe it’s due to the actors not having the time to train on the different scenes so they need to keep it fairly basic, or maybe, it is due to some of the actor’s limitations - not being able to do certain things… I don’t know.

Everything about this season’s fight scenes have just been off.

Episode 7, the scene at the

[Show spoiler]hospital, the two cops on guard duty and they didnt notice Reacher and Neagly wearing scrubs with masks going into the room, spending several minutes torturing the guy and then leaving the room with the heart alarm blaring and the pair of them just strolled away like nowt happened.

C'mon.
