Incredible news. Given that the only "special feature" on the previously-released studio Blu-ray was an odd 3-minute flash-animated summary of the film, any other special features Shout can add will be an improvement.

i own the german 4k for this and it is indeed very bad. the movie is also very bad, but glad it's getting a proper transfer this time.

Really need to give my German release a full watch. Snuck a peek a few months back and the HDR did seem radically different from what I saw at the cinema.

Some people love it, some hate it. But there does seem to be a consensus that it’s revisionist compared to what was shown in cinemas.

It should have one if it's a Collector's Edition as the leak indicated. Most of the time leaks don't show slips, and we usually have to wait for SF to announce the titles to see them.

But the picture above shows a) no slip and b) no Collector’s Edition labeling (contrast that with the upcoming THE ISLAND OF DR. MOREAU BD in the regular Blu-ray thread, which is labeled a C.E. and which does show a slip in the product pic). Shout has been very clear for a while now in these product pics what we’re gonna get with their products (or not get, as far as slips go).
