This was mostly a Charlie Sheen film, I remember thinking the star power didn't translate to the screen. Michael Biehn was the clear highlight in this but was underutilized, and I think Bil Paxton was barely in it from what I remember. I need to do a refresher on this to see if they memed it in Hot Shot Part Duex. This is an interesting choice for VinSyn, especially a VSU, but I think it's a cool title for them, I will definitely grab this.

Never officially released in UK on Blu ray so was just going to get on iTunes. As soon as I saw this pre ordered, £50 in total with shipping but don’t care, loved this film from childhood. If we can get an Atmos remix I’m hoping the sniper rifle sound will be a good tester for my sound system! The score for the film is one of my favourites also.

I’ll pick it up, but will probably wait for the regular release. $42 for this movie isn’t in the budget (this a $20 release IMO, but I know VS has to make money with these collector editions). I remember it mostly for when they filmed part of it in Norfolk, VA (area I’m near). It was in the local news (Norfolk, VA is home to the largest naval base) so everyone made a big deal out of it, lol.

Haven't seen this, but is it one of those "good bad" flicks in the vein of "Road House" and "Showgirls"? Although I'd personally argue there's nothing "bad" about "Road House", I think you know what I mean though. If so, I'll wait til there's a standard edition available as I don't want a film I don't personally love taking up all the space these cases take up on my shelf as I don't have unlimited space.

Plus it's Charlie Sheen in the early 90's which is a sub-genre that really hits the spot for me for some reason. We really need "The Chase" on blu-ray and "Terminal Velocity" back in print ("No Man's Land" too), which I didn't know was OOP til just now when I went to try and buy it, but I'm looking on secondary markets for the Kino version. I refuse to support Mill Creek releases, even though I want "Hollow Man" to help complete my Verhoeven collection.

Anyway, back on Sheen. He had a really iconic run from 86-94. Not really interest in anything he did after 94, but if there's anything of note post-1994, let me know.
