Back to the Future and Jurassic Park Trilogies coming to Blu-Ray - Blu-ray Forum

Nuke the Fridge has learned from an inside source at Universal Studios that there will finally be a Blu-Ray release of all three ‘Back to the Future’ films as well as the ‘Jurassic Park’ trilogy. These six films are due out in their new high definition format sometime in October/November 2010.

Here’s a copy of the email from our inside source:

“'Nuke The Fridge' you didn't hear this from me, but I just got word from Universal of a upcoming release of Back To The Future and Jurassic Park Blu-Ray release.”

This would be the greatest news EVER. I cannot even express the excitement and anticipation of Jurassic Park on Blu-ray. I also pray that it includes a glorious DTS-MA track!

Yes think about it, that'll make it better.

I am surprised at Back to the Future, the HD re-master has been done for quite awhile, it is all just a waiting game at this point.

I'll probably pass on BTTF (I think the DVDs are good), but I'll pick up Jurassic Park 1 for sure.

We knew BTTF was coming soon. It was supposed to come out this year but never happened. JP...is a different ballgame. We'll see what happens.

Oh well, I can wait. I hope they release the Jurassic Park films separately, the only I care for is the first. Back To The Future and it's sequels are some of my all time favorite films though, I grew up watching those!!

I still think the 25th anniversary (early July) is the best bet for Back to the Future set.

My friend "Bomb the Sink" told me that it will be released in late 2009. He told me he's far more credible than ol' "Nuke".

Sold my Jurassic Park box set for 20 bucks. I thought it would be one of those titles I wouldn't miss. I was wrong.

Kept my Back to the Future Trilogy. Gotta sit down and watch them soon. 15 months is a long time to wait.
