![]() ![]() Im not really technical minded so pelase forgive me if this is a simple issue but its driving me mad! I bought a dell pc last year with blu ray included, and i have a samsung LCD that i use as a monitor. They both have HDMI ports, so ive bought a cable (2 now just incase it was the cable!) but i still cant get the tv to link up to/ read the blu ray through the HDMI. Briefly last year my ex got it working after 4 hours of tinkering... but i moved house and it stopped working! Ive tried playing with the graphics software, but from what i remember it should pick up that there is a tv AND a pc monitor, (we fooled it into thinking there was two monitor screens i think) and all i need to do then is play with the resolution and hey presto! B ut i cant even get that far now as when i try it just looses the extra screen! Any advice would be ace as its just sitting there useless atm and there are so many films i want to try out on it! You have to tell your graphics card software that you have two monitors. There should be a option in there that lets you set up multiple monitors. It should then set it as monitor # 2 and as an extension of your current PC desktop where you can drag and drop playback software as you would in your primary PC monitor. For example:
