Default Kurtis21's Home Theater & Bar Setup

Hey guys....just wondering what you guys think about my setup. I don't have any special lenses for my camera so the pics are a little close. I need one of those wide angle lenses My next purchase will be an anamorphic lens and 2:40 masking screen. It's still a work in progress and probably always will be. Just click on my HT photos on the left. Thanks

AWESOME theater Kurtis21!!!!! I think putting in a 2.40.1 screen would be the topping on the already beautiful cake!!

very nice..... love the long narrow rooms, because it's "All Theater"

Not sure I'd have the popcorn machine in there.... but the whole package is still good.

Nice HT. I like the room decor and the attention to detail. Beta Man is right, that room's shape was screamin' for a dedicated HT. Nice equipment and good job!

By the way. Do you let people have drinks from the bar during a movie?

Hell ya Dallas....that's the best part We pause the movie for cocktail refills whenever we need to....unless they're hammered LOL!! We try to have as much fun as possible when we watch a movie...Isn't that why we have HOME theaters apposed to going to a theater?

Nice HT Room Kurtis. Gives me an idea of what my future theater could look like as you have the same speakers as me.

btw what speaker stands are those? Are they heavy enough to keep a child from tipping them over?

These are the speaker stands that I have and YES they are made out of sturdy thick wood and won't tip over. Mine are only 16" tall but they sell them in 24" also if you want more height.

Room looks great. Nice job with the entire set-up, and I really like the seating. Nice touch with the bar area outside of the theater room too. The added lights look good and give it that more "cinematic" feel.
