I'm sort of surprised this came out as a collected set. I have all the individual releases, but it would be nice to have them all together...

IIRC, WAC specifically said they had no plans to release a franchise/box set in the future, so I bought these individually. Would have gladly waited if I knew this was coming.

Each film takes time and money to scan and restore, so there was no way they could have done that.

I saved a lot of money buying the WBA collections instead of the individual releases. Just wished WBA put more out like a science fiction collection.

This release would save some space, but I was happy to buy them separately. Good films and I love the individual key art for the covers (especially for The Thin Man Comes Home).

Wow, this is awesome! This more than makes up for Amazon losing my ordered copy of The Thin Man and having to refund me instead of replacing it!

They don't have 4K masters, they have 4K scans. Literally hundreds of films that were scanned in 4K, but mastering and restoration done in 2K/4K.

At last being cheap has paid off for me. Can finally throw away my dvd’s and own the last 2 films of the franchise in HD for a low price
