Default Tartan's releases to be determined by OLDBOY performance

From Home Media Magazine

Brief but relevant quote at the end:

Quote:
Borg [Tony Borg, president of Tartan Video USA] said the company was “going to see what happens” with Oldboy before determining future Blu-ray releases.

“Oldboy is probably the highest-profile film for Tartan USA,” Borg said. “It’ll be really exciting to see how it does through the holidays.”

Mainly Asian horror movies and arthouse. See here.

Movies I've seen on DVD and recommend: The Vengeance Trilogy by Park Chan-wook (Sympathy for Mr Vengeance, Oldboy, Lady Vengeance), Samaritan Girl, A Snake of June, A Tale of Two Sisters, and Tetsuo: The Iron Man.

Oh, and 9 Songs but that's a wholly different thing.
