Default The Dark Lurking. (Horror)

Hey,

Could this be a possible somewhat copy of Resident Evil, or mainly based on Gears of War?. Its got all the combination of Military VS. Monsters and are fighting underground with no way in or out.

Interesting.

The Movie was originally released almost a year ago with no plans to be released in the states and not even straight to DVD. The Dark Lurking to be released in the USA by Winter followed by a plan.

Quote:
To this movie nerd’s infinite pleasure, Australian filmmaker Gregory Connors’ gore-heavy sci-fi horror flick “The Dark Lurking” is finally coming to the US later this year. According to 24 Frames Per Second, the film will have its debut on V.O.D. sometime during the end of October/beginning of November, with a proper DVD release to follow. I first watched the trailer for this film about a year ago, and have been anxiously awaiting its Stateside debut ever since. In fact, I’d almost given up hope for a Region 1 release until this very morning. And as soon as I stumble across an official release date for the DVD, you’ll be one of the first to know.

Synopsis:

Something has gone terribly wrong at Outpost 30, a secret international research facility some five hundred meters beneath the snow blown arctic wilderness. All communications are gone, all means of escape destroyed and an extremely dangerous horde of ancient creatures is on the loose after a doorway to an unspeakable evil has been unleashed.

If that’s not enough to whet your proverbial whistle, check out the official trailer below. It’s all sorts of cool. Then again, I’m a sucker for monsters, military types, and lots of juicy bloodshed.

Be forewarned its graphic.

If you are interested Just click here for the Trailer.

Enjoy.

Looks pretty good. Here's to hoping they didn't put all the cool scenes in the trailer.

Definitely looks worth checking out.

Looks kinda cool, I like the classic look they're going for, where they showed the compound and the spacecraft. Didn't really see any CGI in those shots. Reminds me of older sci-fi films like Star Wars or Aliens

"This film has not yet been rated " , it is probably a good guess it's not going to be rated G .
