hahahaha I actually liked (and own

) Tashan. It honestly was a letdown, but there are some good parts to the film. It was boasted as a huge action movie but the first actual action sequence comes a little while after the Intermission. But i have to say, the stunts and what happens to the characters in their battles is VERY unrealistic; laughable some might even say.

I still like this film, i just feel even i could have written a better plot.

lol! It was Anil Kapoor & Saif Ali Khan that were annoying in the film & that stupid song dil dance mare!

haha Exactly! Anil's 2 henchmen are the strangest characters i have ever seen on film. Akshay and Kareena weren't bad at all in the movie. Since i don't know much Hindi, i actually liked the "Dil Dance Mare" song, but when i saw the subtitles i was like "WHAT?!?!" hahaha

So I decide to call the YRF's office in New York - Tel / Fax: +1 (516) 280 5662. This genteman who answered the phone claims they cannot divulge the BD release dates to public and one has to keep checking their websites for further updates. What a load of crap!!!! No business startegy whatsoever. YRF must be a defense company...BEATS ME...lol

lol! I emailed them and they said they were not releasing any blu ray as of yet! lol! YRF obvioulsy do not think its important to tell their employees of any important blu ray updates!

It's like I am asking them for a missile launch date, BUMMER. These guys crack me up. "Sir, We do not divulge this information to the public". Hello, who do you think are buying these BD's....THE PUBLIC.

This is interesting... This implies that YRF has officially indicated that New York blu-ray has not been released yet. But a UK ebay seller claims that he has more than 10 in stock for sale. Either the eBay seller is misleading consumer or YRF is misleading consumer (which is an offence). I sincerely hope that eBay seller is the culprit rather than Yash Raj Films. I think YRF ought to clear this confusion.

I still find it kinda a weird that NY is on Blu and still no mention of it on YR site....not to mention NOTHING about Blu-RAY..

According to our members, YRF has officially implied that NY blu-ray has not been released yet. Meanwhile, UK ebay seller is claiming that he has 10 copies for sale. Just thinking and speculating.... that there is another remote possibility: YRF "may" have lost some stocks and those "may be" sold in ebay. Those "could be" stolen goods in which case it is a criminal matter for the police to handle. Just speculation ....

I remember when I ordered Om Shanti Om blu ray from bollwooddvds.com, this was not listed on the eros website at that time! Maybe the likes of bollywooddvds.com or bollyman.com will get it first and then it will appear on YRF website later!!

I forgot to mention that i got an email from the ebay guy and according to him he is getting more stock on friday!

ok guys I had send 2 emails to yash raj films (India & UK office)

I got a reply from the guy from India and today I got a reply from Navraj Panesar who works at the UK Yash Raj office and he said that New York will release on the 18th of September (bollywoodblu-ray you were right just before Eid) and the other yash raj films will follow there after!

So that means that New York is not out yet! I just have to chase bollyman.co.uk to get a refund! wish me luck (lol)

I feel that Bollywood movie industry is distancing themselves from the end customer. It is not a good feeling. They should get close to the end customers. That is the way this game is played in the new-world. Hollywood is doing this. Hollywood is getting very close to the end customer and genuinely looking after the end-customer requirements. That is the way to move forward - in a partnership. Internet has already given the tools to easily achieve that closelessness.

This forum is a very good tool and an opportunity for the industry to get close to the end customer.

Yes, I can remember that as well. That was not a very good move from many perspectives. Hope that will not repeat again.

To be a fair play, all retailers should get the stocks same time - that protects consumer interests as well. If that is not the case, it is bit like match-fixing.
