Default Glass tv stand suggestions

Sorry if this is the wrong section guys, it seemed best suited for my question. It's time for me to get a new tv stand, and I really like the look of glass ones, wood just isn't my style. I was looking at this, but was wondering if anyone could suggest something else, hopefully at least a tiny bit cheaper? If it helps, it will be holding a 42 inch LCD, ps3, 360, and a wii, and hopefully a receiver some day in the future. Thanks for any suggestions!

If you have children then glass a definate no-no, if not look for a glass unit that is well built and tough/strong!

Tech-Craft BCE48

if you plan on buying a receiver in the future, make sure the shelves have enough space. For instance, my receiver (Pioneer Elite) stands roughly 7 1/8" tall, but some of the shelves on the stands I was looking at only covered around 6 1/2" ...so you just gotta be careful that there is enough clearance.

I checked the dimensions on this one here. Tech-Craft.com (View Lineart)

I actually just bought a 60" Tech-Craft Bernini series stand. It was delivered today and is actually sitting on my front porch! (Im sick today and have no strength to move it. )

I'm afraid of what those cost, but they do look very nice!

Nope, no kids! I would be too paranoid to have something like that with kids running around.

DUDE I have the EXACT same thing sitting in my livingroom right now. It is holding a 50"Full HDTV, Wii, PS3, Cable/satalite box, and Onkyo 805. I have to yell at my kids a few times here and there but nothing bad. It's a very nice pc of furniture.

Is it sturdy and well made? I'm always nervous about buying furniture from Walmart, especially if it's going to hold $3,000 in equipment. But I suppose anything is better than the piece of crap Bush one I got from Best Buy a few years ago that seems to be made out of corrugated cardboard.

I have the same stand. Check the gallery for pics.

Don't worry about the build quality. It's actually a Z-Line stand. The box and the manual have their brand plastered all over it. However, what it looks like is that Wal-Mart commisioned for them to make a stand under their cheap "Home Trends" lineup. The same stand from Z-Line costs $100 more. The only difference is that the glass isn't tinted on the Wal-Mart version.

Honestly, I have everything in my sig and it fits fine. The 805 was a bit close due to the depth, but it fit as well. It's a good stand. I'm considering getting something larger though so I can add an amplifier.

Dude, just as an FYI, you will hate having glass tops for furniture. I have a glass top coffee table and glass top TV stand and it is always, and I mean always dirty. You will be cleaning it constantly, I regret ever getting that kind of furniture.

Now if you dont really clean all that much, then play on playa =)

Meh, I wipe mine down every couple of days with a swiffer-type duster. I have to do the same for my piano black speaker tops anyway. Takes two minutes. We have a dog, so that contributes to the mess.
