It says it has Spanish language, can anyone confirm me if its spanish (castillian) from spain or else south american spanish?

I always watch movies on V.O. but this is the excepcion i dont know why. Anyways the reviewer gives it 2.5 PQ rating, which i hope its at least a bit better than the dvd version i've got, that would do it with this one for me

Picked it up at Walmart to ten bucks last night. Blind buy.

I personally love this movie. Its a very unusual movie that fits into several categories...lots of dark humor in this dialogue driven film. The dialogue itself is priceless and acting is superb.

haven't seen thuis one yet, but i'm hesitant to watch it, because i have yet to see Gates 1 through 7

Will i bve totally lost if i just jump in at number 9?

The movie is one of my favourite. I've also read "The Club Dumas" the book on which the movie was based. It goes into all sorts of detail about Dumas (who wrote the Three Musketeers) and the parallels of those stories and characters to the events in the book and film.

Great Film! Not a huge upgrade over the dvd on blu but for ten bucks its worth it just so it matches everything else on the shelf.

Love the movie, love Polanski, love Depp. But the PQ on the blu stinks.

I love the film, and the blu is better than the dvd in pq and aq so for $10 you can not ask for too much more.

It was boring the first time I watched it, but improved on subsequent viewings. It grows on you the more you think about it.

This is a movie that you don't go into it expecting a whole lot out of it, but as you view the film, it really impresses you.

There were two or three other "Devil" movies out that year, being 1999...End of Days (which I think is a very underrated movie) and Lost Souls, which was supposed to come out in 1999 but sat on a shelf for a year or so as the studio didn't have a lot of faith in it. The Ninth Gate came out under the radar and didn't do very well theatrically, but was still a good movie.

I have been waffling about buying it lately, I may have to stop in at a walmart tomorrow.

I love the Ninth Gate...something about the "mood" of the movie and the European setting. However, I will admit that a couple of the scenes are very "cheezy". Looks and sounds very good in Blu!
