Just watched this for the first time on 4K disc and it rocked. It was like Moby Dick., Jaws, and Mad Max all in one. As much as I love the first Highlander film, I'll go out on a limb and say that this was directed much better. I don't know if it was because Mulcahy had more familiarity directing in his homeland or what. Maybe Dean Semler's cinematography enhanced this but this was a real treat. Mind blown style.
The 4K SDR and DTS lossless soundtrack were terrific. |
