Default PS3 Question: Turing off 1080p/24fps

I upgraded to the latest firmware, 1.9. I can't figure out how to switch between 1080p/60 and 1080p/24.
Anyone know where to do this on the system?

Also, whats the virdict on 1080p/24fps on a display that can't except it. Is it better to just leave it, or go to 1080p/60fps?

Settings - BD/DVD Settings - BD 1080P 24HZ Output Format (HDMI) - Auto,On,Off

if your TV does not accept this signal, turn it "Off"...or you'll get either significant flicker, or a blank screen.

it depends what type of tv you have. if your tv can support 24 frames/sec, 24 is best (your tv would run in 24, 48, 72, 96, 0r 120hz AND 60hz, a lot of tvs don't support 24hz). my guess is you have a 60hz tv, so turn off the 1080p/24.

Stockstar, we have basically the same TV... I have the Samsung LN-T4661f. I was messing with the 24/60 on the PS3 last night. The TV, which only does 1080p/60 excepted the 24fps output! It actually worked in all 3 settings, ON, OFF, & AUTOMATIC. Weird! I guess it somehow converted it to 60?

The question I now have is, which is best? For the PS3 to convert the native disk to 60fps or for the TV to do it?
I didn't have much time to do any testing last night... but from what I could see, there was no difference.

Anyone?
