Totally agree Zivouhr, their style is pretty nauseating and it certainly doesn't allow for any 3D work to shine. They also did Ghost Rider 2 which got a much more professional conversion and it's frankly the best thing about that movie. I need to give Gamer another go in 3D but it is very underwhelming.

I've never seen the movie in full, but I did see some screenshots and clips of the 3D version, and it's clearly an auto-convert. I don't even mean the "computer-assisted" conversions like Fox did on the other titles Zivouhr mentioned - this is a warpy mess that's not only shallow but has little to no accurate depth placement. At least Predator was a relatively clean conversion even if it was as deep as a puddle.

I've heard that the picture quality of the 2D version on the 3D disc is better than the picture quality of the previous 2D only blu-ray release. Is this true?
