Good point, you are right. I didn't think about that when I typed my previous post. I think I'll never buy from pawn shops either.

With the prices of some of the new discs, I have absolutely no problem buying used. Movie Stop, CD Warehouse, BBV, or a pawn shop, as long as it's on my list, I'll consider it. In fact, I prefer to shop there if for only "the thrill of the chase."
I picked up a sealed Coraline for $15.99 but passed on the sealed 300 digibook at that same price at CD Warehouse. My local "freaky record store" is a hit or miss but last week they had Star Trek S1 for $40, not too bad. Pawn shops are a different breed. Some have em, some don't. Some offer good prices, some don't. My best deal was for the Harry Potter trunk for $20 on Blu. |
