Tried the first 2 episodes and just thought it was awful. Virtually everyone in the cast was unlikable to me.

Oddly I agree, the one dude yelling randomly I found to be a huge turn off initially but I saw the newer ones and it felt more enjoyable. I don't know why they'd have such a crucial plot point involve such annoyance right from the get-go.

I'll discount sports since those aren't technically "shows." My list (in no order):

WWE Monday Night Raw
Law & Order: SVU
Law & Order
Lost
The Office (my current favourite show)
WWE Friday Night Smackdown
South Park
Entourage
Curb Your Enthusiasm
Trailer Park Boys (I believe this has ended, but a guy can hope that there'll be more Ricky, Julian & Bubbles on my TV).

The last TV show I watched regularly was ER. It was the only show I followed and it retired just last spring. During the summer, I bought Moonlighting on DVD and loved it. Watched the whole thing in about two weeks but then it was over. I had to find a show that was still airing and people were talking about a similar show to Moonlighting called Bones. I had a hold of all four seasons and after a handful of episode I was hooked big time. I watched all four seasons in two weeks also.

Bones is now the only show I will watch regularly. I've started to watch House and find it interesting but I'm only at season one so I'll continue from there on my own pace and won't be watching through the network. I will do the same with MAD MEN.

Shows that I will try for the first time are Dollhouse and that's just to watch Alexis Denisof who will guest star sometime this season. Another one would be Cougar Town because I like Courtney Cox.
