Thanks for that. Kinda relieved it's on every copy as it saves me some money. It's out if print now too.

I actually watched the scene three times in a row to check that I wasn't missing anything. Honestly couldn't see anything like those images and I'm pretty good at spotting such things. Weird. I bought the disc on day one (14 years ago) so I'm wondering if there was a problematic batch made later. btw I'm sure someone will leave a subsequent post to tell me how wrong I am!

Sorry to bump such an old thread, but couldn't find a UK thread related to the latest Arrow release apart from the 4k thread. I see that there is now a "standard" release for the 4k version, but is a "standard" for the regular blu expected as well?

I don't think it's been listed yet, the regular 4K was out last week. Generally they do get released.

Arrow still have the LE, worth picking up if you want both cuts.

My Amazon UK order from April 2025 is delayed indefinitely. Considering the "offers", scalpers have already won.

I still have the old french Blu-Ray ...

Same. My April order never shipped and like the Arrow Leone titles, they're "offered" for 10times the original price. I'm sure I'd have had mine shipped if it wasn't for a significant amount of stock going to scalpers ordering multiple copies. That's how the free market works so no resentment here, but with regards to LEs I feel more foolish trying to own them. In this case I picked up the blu LE locally in the hope that I could return it unopened if my 4K shipped. Since it didn't, I'm perfectly fine settling for it. I can always buy the 4k standard disc later and slip it into the blu ray pack.

I'm hoping there will be a European release with both cuts. Arrow can go do one - any release they drop a disc from is a release I won't buy.

Is rather a piss take by Arrow selling out a LE before release day and downgrading the standard release not just skipping a booklet.

This is where the likes of Indicator and Radiance are more honest.

If Indicator see a fast seller they up the edition size and make more, as they try to keep titles in print for a minimum of 6 months.

Radiance don't do that but you see them do slightly downgraded 2nd pressing LEs when the first sells out incredibly fast and then the standard edition is only 3rd time around.

Others like Sony and their steelbooks designed to keep prices high do a drip feed of later reissues again with limited stock. Something they keep doing with Laurence of Arabia.

Oh wow, I was just about to order via MediaMarkt (where it was priced €50 or so). Glad I checked here first and found this.

I should have checked Mediamarkt :O I never had the thought, but the price of 50 EUR ... hmmm. Sadly, JPC already didn't have the set anymore.

Other than the price, what's the difference between the one they list for €39.99 and the one they list for €59.99?

Have you seen any movement WRT your order? Mine says "will be delivered between 1 and 2 August" which will be quite the miracle considering it is almost 2 August and their process hasn't even reached the second stage, i.e. processing the order, certainly not stage three (shipping) or stage four (delivery).

Fnac

The shipment of your package has been delayed.

When we confirmed your order No. ##############, we had scheduled your package for shipment on July 31, 2025. However, our supplier's lead time has been delayed. Your package will be shipped as soon as possible.

We apologize; we are doing everything we can to reduce your wait time.

.... I got this. I suppose, the same thing with Amazon happened. The scalpers won. I am quite disappointed with Arrow right now. I am keeping this order open in the mere hope, I will get something in the next months.

Naughty of FNAC to say in stock when it wasn’t.

They obviously assumed it would be easy to get re supply from the studio or their wholesalers but it isn’t as no one has stock and Arrow have been slow to list as sold out and deleted further down the supply chain.

I wouldn't have mind not getting the Limited Edition is the regular one wasn't missing the theatrical in 4K without warning. I don't understand why Arrow doesn't print more copies of a set that sold out before it was released.

So they can 'miraculously' find a pile of stock in a warehouse & flog them at conventions at inflated prices.

Wait, my FNAC order status is now "annulled"? WTF? They cancelled it and didn't even email me about this?
