Hmm, the absence of the blu-ray logo on both case and artwork would indicate that these will be BD-R.

The logo is on the artwork. Look at the white banner running along the top of the front and the spine.

I have these and can verify they are pressed and not BD-Rs.

Looks like they aren’t doing sales to the U.K. correctly.

They are now deducting the 25% Swedish VAT as U.K. outside EU, but aren’t applying U.K. 20% VAT as overseas retailers are required to do.

You can choose Asendia or Postnord for delivery. Now both should refuse a parcel to U.K. as VAT hasn’t been applied, but given the horror stories in the press I expect will turn up here so I’m exposed to lots of charges.

Will try contacting them with my poor Swedish.

You know more than me. Several years of Nordic Noir has left me able to say "tack", and that's it.

Well, that and "Saga Norén, Länskrim, Malmö", which is how I answer phone calls.

I just got these through to the UK with no issues, along with Anita, Swedish Nymphet which was unsealed for some reason but came with the slipcover signed by Christina Lindberg so no complaints there!

Thanks, I’m intersted in placing an order. How much was postage to the uk?

They charged me in dollars, there wasn't the option to pay in pounds so I just went for it. I paid 13 dollars postage for the four Blu-rays. The parcel came via Asendia Germany.

I gather that Christina signed 100 of the 500 slipcovers, seems like you might randomly get one if you order direct as I wasn't expecting it and I didn't order it as soon as it was announced or anything like that. Mine was numbered 045.

I see some Swedish shopping sites still have the slipcover edition too so I can't understand why people are paying crazy prices for the Melusine edition.

The one advantage the US single disc release of Anita might have is more conventional encoding. Watching the French cut on disc 2, on my Panasonic Blu-ray player I could skip chapters but was unable to fast forward or rewind or access any timer information. I haven't gotten around to watching the other discs yet to see if they do the same thing but there were no issues with the condition of any of them.
