NCIS coming to Blu-ray - Page 2 - Blu-ray Forum

I finally got my copy today. Took some quick pics with my phone. Enjoy!

Case opened. Look at all that NCIS on Blu-ray goodness!

The discs are stacked obviously. Found them easy to remove though. Inspected each, all in mint condition. Top stacks contain 3 discs each. Bottom stacks contain 2 discs each. Now for the fun part, cataloging this release in DVD Profiler and My Movies. Always a good time. :-P

I just finished cataloging this title within My Movies and DVD Profiler. Plan to check out a couple episodes this evening.

The profiles I created in DVD Profiler can be viewed online for those interested. Just hit up the link to my Blu-ray collection down in my forum signature. (Not mobile device friendly.)

As compared to the DVD sets...
The episode breakdown per disc is the same. None of the audio commentaries were carried over. None of the bonus materials for Seasons 1 and 2 were carried over. The bonus materials for Seasons 3 through 5 were carried over.

Currently priced at 49.97€, part of Amazon's Cyber Monday Deals. I believe it's as low as it's ever been.

Sad that there has been no announcement whatsoever of a second Boxset.

I just ordered my copy today while the sale was on as I've been wanting to get for awhile now and the price was too good to pass up.

I agree with you samukas. I wish they would release the next 5 seasons bluray box set. I would totally buy those as well. I hope they just haven't gotten around to announcing it yet and that they still plan to soon.

Hi guys. I purchased this last night from the Amazon Germany website after learning about it only LAST MONTH due to doing an online NCIS blu-ray search to see if/when it's available on blu-ray. I will be receiving it next weekend.

I've read the reviews for the box set on Amazon Germany and the majority of the reviews only have one negative aspect-the casing. I've seen the photos and can understand why the fans would be unhappy. I would be happier if the seasons were presented in their own individual cases. I've already contacted CBS Home Entertainment on Twitter regarding this and how unpopular the casing is. I'm hoping that NCIS will continue to be released in this method with Seasons 6-10 in their own individual cases, then 11-15 and 16-20. I'm very sure that there will be more NCIS blu-ray box sets as next year marks the 20th anniversary of the show. CBS would be very unpopular if they did NOT continue to release NCIS on blu-ray to celebrate 20 YEARS of this show.

Paramount (CBS) won't change the packaging, which doesn't really matter as unlikely to ever see more seasons on BD in German. This was an Amazon.de exclusive meaning they part funded it and in the years since its release no follow up so wont see one now.

These jumbo cases are standard for CBS for multi season TV shows as they used same for Mission Impossible and Hawaii 5-0 in Germany (at least with that you could buy individual season releases at a much higher total cost).

Does this ever go on sale anymore? 100 euros (plus 20 more for shipping) is a little too rich for my blood, but I could see myself hopping onboard for the right price.

Anybody order this recently? I know from the pictures that the slipcover was shrink-wrapped but I'm wondering if they're still producing it with the slipcover or not.
