What is remote play?

Newb question here.

I see remote play option. How does that work?

My PSP has been collecting dust for about two years. I bought it when they first came out, but lost interest with the lack of support.

So is this just a gimmick or is there something fun about it?

tons of functionality with the PS3, I don't own a PSP, but there are tons of threads on here about it. Check them out with the search function.

Remote play lets you connect your PSP to your PS3 from anywhere you have a wifi connection so you can listen to music and view pics. I think with some of the new racing games you will be able to use your PSP as a rear view mirror too. I haven't tried it outside the house yet because I always turn the PS3 off when I leave but the idea behind it seems pretty cool. You can get more info at this link:

sell your psp. just made £40 quid out of mine on ebay and it was broke. brand new you could get 70-80 back if your lucky

Well, I paid $250 for it when it first came out, so getting $70-$80 really won't "get me going."

I used it at the DMV. Sure made the time go faster.

I'll search the forum again for more info.

Think I'll dust it off and see if there are any decent games out for it (non-FPS crap).
