I work at BBY/MHT and we have recently received model numbers in our computer system for the New Sharp, Panasonic and Samsung BDP2400 available next month as well as the Samsung combo player. Sharp and Panasonic are priced 499, Samsung 599 and dual player 799. Thought you all should know.

I worked at BBY for almost 8 years, and I can tell you not to trust those "in stock" dates. They're almost always incorrect when it comes to electronics. The margin for error could be weeks or maybe even a month.

I am well aware of the dates, but this close to holiday season they will have them in stores by black friday. And yes a new panasonic, DMPBD-30. This is really a second gen players since their second model was really a first gen with software updates.. Nice prices too for all players. There are now like 4-5 models priced at $500.
