Who's That Girl? Blu-ray

I was watching the Madonna Celebration 2 Disc DVD set and right after they played the music video for "Who's That Girl" it stated

Who's That Girl on DVD and Blu-Ray from Warner Home Video.

It seems it title is definitely on its way. The Madonna Celebration 2 Disc DVD collection of 47 Madonna videos was released on DVD only Tues Sept 29th.

If it comes to Blu-ray, I'll have to buy it.. if only to laugh every time I see it in my collection.

How's the Celebration DVD? I would've bought it if it were in Blu.. maybe even on DVD if it wasn't missing some favorites.

Oddly enough the DVD set for Celebration is ok. of course it is interlaced and at times there is a lot of ringing issues etc. I can't imagine a BD release for CELEBRATION I could be wrong but I can't imagine them in HD. If they did it would make the DVD transfers look unwatchable.

I would buy Who's that Girl on BD... it isn't great but it never comes across as bad as its reputation for the film became.

I think we are gonna get all of Griffin Dunnes films on BD before anyones haha. The one I want the most is AFTER HOURS! If the transfer is done correct you will get decent detail and a good amount of film grain depending on the sequence... but the video noise in nighttime scenes should be gone.

Yeah, exactly. Plus "American Life" was major and "Drowned World/Substitute For Love" is my favorite song by her so having the video would have been nice.

I just think if you're going to put all your videos on DVD, you put ALL your videos on DVD.

I would buy anything Madonna-related that came to Blu-ray! My first choice, however, would be EVITA!

Yeah I would e-mail Criterion on that title and beg for their Special Edition to be released on BD. I still own the $124.99 Criterion LD box set.

Maybe if WB would issue this along with The two Prince films Graffiti Bridge and Under the Cherry Moon they could get more sales for the films. I watched the film when the DVD was released and felt that it isn't really a bad film at all. In the context of the type of film they were trying to make just relaxing into it it can be a fun film.
