Girl Who Leapt Through Time anime coming to blu

A new update on Japanese site AV Watch indicates that the Kadokawa release of the Girl Who Leapt Through Time will be hitting Blu-ray in that country on 07/25/2008 for about ¥6,930. No specs were indicated yet however. The feature is set to be released by Kadokawa Pictures USA and Bandai Entertainment in the US after being recently announced as licensed, and hopefully this will pave the way for a US Blu-ray release now that Bandai Entertainment has made their first announcement for the format during the New York Comic Con with Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence

It may not be 100% certainty of when it when it will be out in America or if it will be day and date with dvd but sounds like it should come out right after the Japanese copy. So i guess expect for it to come out this year.
