Got mine today, works and looks great! It is expensive to get disks from across the pond but sendit seems to have the best prices if you want to do it.

Got Bruce Almighty and Lucky Number Sleven also.....Great films!

Does this mean that Alpha Dog would work for PS3 or just a standalone player?

Default Alpha Dog

Wow, I was actually impressed with the flick ALPHA DOG. I know it won't be coming to Blu anytime soon and I'm not sure if I'd pick it up if it did, but this was a descent little film. Based on the true story of Jesse James Hollywood, the youngest man on the FBI's most wanted list. I think this film was pretty close to the facts of the case. I just wish that the film was a little longer with more detail on how everyone got busted.

It's out in the UK on blu ray, and its region free. I have it and it works fine on my US PS3

http://sendit.com/video/item/7001000137238

It's one of the few UK blu ray's that comes in a regular size case, unlike most that come in a thicker case similar to the cases used for PS3 games.

I saw Alpha Dog a few months back and I did not know what to expect. I have to admit I was a little curious to see how Justin Timberlake would be as an actor. Although he was not a major figure in the movie, he did a good job in my mind. However, Ben Foster stole the show. That guy just played his role perfectly.

I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone who is interested in the anti-Hollywood type of movie.

I probably would not buy it on BD if available as I don't see this as the kind of movie I would watch time and time again.

Really liked this movie. I have been holding off on buying the DVD as I hope someday a Blu release is possible.

mark me down as someone who begrudgingly watched this and actually found it enjoyable. Probably wouldn't buy the hd (in the generic sense) version, but would consider renting again.

Thank God JT and Ben Foster were in this movie because it would not have been enjoyable any other way. Well, maybe if it were a better movie.

Very interesting comment, I haven't seen this film yet, and I didn't know he was in it.

But after seing how he completely 'walked over' 2 house names on 3:10, I'm all more ancious for it.
