Alpha Dog video Quality - SPOILERS!

For all who own this movie on blu-ray I have a question.

I live in Canada, and while still waiting for Alpha Dog to appear on blu-ray here, I decided to buy it during my vacation in London this year as I saw it for pretty cheap.

I just watched it last night for the first time, and I have to say, the quality looks amazing! Especially on my new Pioneer Elite 60" TV. However, there is one scene that doesn't look so good. In fact, it looks downright horrible.

The scene is at the end, when they kill the kid on the rocks. I remember seeing this on DVD and looking better than it did here. It seemed like there were two images overlapping each other, the lighting was really off, and it was as if they were super-imposed into the scene. Particularly when they do close ups of Elvis' face.

Does anybody else notice this?

I can't comment and think I have the US import title but I didn't think that scene looked great anyway, the spray of bullets etc

Perhaps it's supposed to look distorted, I don't know but either way it didn't spoil the movie for me, though it's kind of stuck in my memory so the replay value is not so great.
