USA Help with putting together a nice sound system.

I've been in the "blu" world for the past year now and loving every minute of it. I'm wanting to piece together an impressive sound system to go with my blu-ray player and tv. I know by buying individual pieces I'll get a better system than by getting a HTIB, but I really don't know where to begin. I'm somewhat on a budget (I can't afford the best speakes in the world), but at the same time quality is VERY important to me. I would love to have a 7.1 system if possible. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I was thinking up to $1,000.00 but to be honest I'm not sure what to expect on price. I do want the best combo of price and quality I can get without breaking the bank.

Crackinhedz just hooked you up, that's an awesome setup to start with. If you can extend your budget even more, go with the Elemental Designs A2-300 subwoofer for $350 shipped. It'll completely change your movies and music! There's a big thread on it in the sub section, check it out, everyone who has one absolutely loves it, myself included. It's the best "bang for your buck" sub out there right now

Also, the Monitor 30's are on sale right now, so they're only $88 a pair with the promo code EMCMLLT47 (code expires 10/12)
