Casual PS3 Games - Blu-ray Forum

I was just wondering if you guys knew of any coming out anytime soon. I imagine with PS Home there wont be a sims for a while... but A LOT of my friends are REALLY into this farmville thing on facebook and it got me to thinking...

Why are there no PSN or PS3 games that are like that? People play them, am I just not hearing about them?

I don't know if this is a PS3 or PSN question so a mod can stick it where ever if they want.

I was thinking a little more casual than a war game...

Noby Noby Boy, Flower and flOw fit the bill pretty perfectly... But they are pretty much objectless.

I was thinking more along the lines of like Dyno Park Tycoon. lol. Something fun. Maybe like Harvest Moon..?

The PS3 is supposed to be getting Free Realms Online, which is probably just thing you're looking for. Oh, just looked it up, it's pushed back until mid-2010. Ouch. You might also consider Eyepet if you're in Europe or don't mind importing from there... or waiting until 2010. Otherwise, you're probably stuck with a PS1 game; I think there's a SimCity PS1 game in at least the Euro PSN, possibly the U.S. also.

Switch Ball, Shatter, and Magic Ball are all pretty casual.

If you want to step it up a little from there, I'd recommend Super Stardust HD and Zombie Apocalypse.

jamclaur what your describing is mostly phone apps, the ps3 doesnt house them because its not worth the cell processing power, however i heard that the psp mini's are more or less smaller app like games...

he plays the games u listed and is in the top 5 for most trophies on br.com... we all know he can game... hes just looking for something different and not so serious... u never in ur life wanted to try a different game that wasnt action?

LOL, yeah a lot of my family and relatives are into Farmville on Facebook. Did you hear the new one The Cafe? I'm very anti-social network sites so I'm very anti-Facebook

i use facebook for wut it is... i never touch the stupid apps unless its sports trivia.. i do rutgers trivia and im #9 in the world lol

Correct-o. I have 21 or so platinums with a large part of those being shooters.. I rented Hanna Montana, Ice Age, and UP hoping to escape the repetitiveness of run, cover, shoot, repeat... but it's not happening.

I really just want a game where I can go on there and chill out and do some mindless thing and get trophies.

If home had them i'd be there right about now. I need a giga-pet with trophies.

Super Stardust HD. This game is a classic arcade-style shooter. Online Game Code for it.
