Depends on the game. I like challenges but I dont like too frustrated. But for the most part I start the game on hard. I don't find games too hard but some can get me

and thats when i change the difficulty to normal

No offense, but "Easy" on today's videogames is a joke. You might as well just activate the God Mode codes.

I quite honestly usually do things on easy...I find it fun...

However, I've started on Hard with Uncharted 2 just because I want the challenge and I've had some practice from playing the multiplayer beta

i start everything off on easy. i get frustrated too fast. now im on second from last chapter and it deff gets difficult. great game though

Easy is no fun it makes the game just a walk through, if I pay $60 bucks for a game I want some frustratration to come out of it so it feels even better when I beat the boss/level.

No. I start on normal or hard. Games nowadays are fairly easy on normal.

I generally start on Normal, and only switch on "easy" if the games start being frustrating.

A first run through to me is meant to appreciate the game, and enjoy the story, all of which can be totally destroyed by repeated deaths/ frustrating dead ends.

For me, "hard" is for second play throughs, if the game warants it

Rentals are also on easy, cause I don't see the point on keeping them too long hehe.

After I got into gaming I would always play on easy first. Now I have worked my way to normal.

I start on normal than work my way up. I do get real pissed at times, especially with Call Of Duty 4 on veteran! The Force Unleashed I've been trying to beat on the hardest difficulty, but, it's real hard. But, I like the challenge, it makes things funner.

Some games on the hardest difficulty are easy! Like Battlefield: Bad Company, that game is a breeze on hard.

None taken. Trial and error type of games make the difficulty harder even on easy mode and I don't see the funnies in that.

I usually start on normal and move on up if I like the game enough for a second play through..but now with the trophies having you to beat the game on hard..I start at the hardest setting for my 1st playthrough

I usually begin new games on the "easy" setting and work my way up to not changing it at all cause I get too scared of my games. The monsters keep kicking my a$$ otherwise.

It seems like the older I get the harder the games are to play. I now have to play on either easy or normal.

Usually start on the default then work up.

On Guitar Hero though everytime I get a new one I won't play a song on anything less than expert.

I start on normal and often hard. I beat Uncharted 2 on hard. I started KZ2 on hard but it just pissed me off. R2 took me a while, but it was rewarding at the end. NGS2 is hard, but playable. To bad the story doesn't make me care enough to play it.
