I agree, Halo 3 does have a few very cool set design pieces, but no way does it deserve a 9 and above for graphics. ODST looks tons better in my opinion, but still not close to Uncharted realm.

Modern Warfare is only 600p rendered, just like MW 2 will be also.

Sony has owned ND for quite a long time.

Well look at GTAIV some reviews say that the graphics are like 10 out of 10 and I would give it more like 6 or 7 out of 10 and thats me being generous about it.

Just checked and Halo 3 is in 1152×640 resolution

They shared (maybe still do) a building with Insomniac back in the day. Both fantastic developers though I have to give the edge to Naught Dog for my tastes. Back in the day Crash Bandicoot looked amazing for its time. Actually some of the level designs kind of have a similar feeling to some Uncharted leves.

Seriously 10/10 graphics on GTA IV. That is the biggest Epic failure in ratings this generation. That and giving the gameplay of GTA IV more than a 4/10..

GTA IV rec'd it's ratings for graphics because of the amount of objects on the screen and the draw distances they achieved with the engine. Yes the graphics don't look amazing like in Uncharted or other games but the sheer size of the environment is what impressed reviewers.

Ok, we'll agree to disagree on the graphics. I agree the scale is great but covering a massive area in my opinion doesn't justify a 10. Still I wouldn't give it a ten..

But the gameplay.. Would you really defend a score of 10/10 on the gameplay??? The hand to hand combat is so freaking clunky and the gunplay isn't much better as well.. yet IGN writes this and scores it higher well than pretty much lots of games with better gameplay.

ND are a wholly owned by Sony and can produce games for PlayStation systems.

Bungie are now third party and their contract for exclusives ends with MS after the release of Halo: Reach. Once that is out it is widely believed that Bungie will be making a multiplat game for PS3/360/PC due for 2011 sometime.

And anyone who says Killzone 2 needs color knows nothing of art direction, it looked perfect for what they intended.

I have a long wishlist for Killzone 3, but either way I think Killzone 2 is the best FPS of this generation, ahead of COD4, maybe MW2 or MAG will be better, but as of now, IMO, Killzone 2 takes it.

Yeah I tried out GTAIV before the trophy patch and I was so unimpressed with it and just wondered to myself why do people buy it. Yeah I think more reviewers given GTAIV 10 out of 10 on the gamplay more than the graphics and some even say that it's a possibility for like Game of the Year award.

I dont mean to be a party pooper, but Killzone 3 has even entered main production yet. They're still trying to set everything up. How do i know? my friend is a motion capture actor who has been in The god of war series and Madden series, and he says that they're just now calling in actors to do a spec for the game. He is one of the actors being called in. :/

I've been playing (and loving) GTA games since i was at school and I think GT4 is the worst GTA game ever made. IMO the driving was s**t, the characters were s**t and the story was s**t. It tried way too hard to take itself serious but then wanted the same comedy as previous installments. It didn't work on so many levels.

Then there was the reviews...(i won't even go there)
