I have it on dvd, which features a 16.9 transfer w/5.1 audio. Basically, the concert features all the tracks, played in order, from their classic 70's album, 'Dreamboat Annie'. I haven't seen any BD reviews, altho the PQ & AQ upgrade are likely worthwhile, expecially if u don't own the dvd. I prefer their 'Alive in Seattle' concert, avail on both BD & HDDVD (I have the latter)....it expectedly features a more extensive compilation of their output. Unfortunately, 'Alive..' is presented in only 5.0 audio, making for a less than satisfying audio experience in terms of the bottom end. But, all is forgiven, because we're Heart fans (!)....and most importantly, Ann's peerless & powerful vocals are rendered intact.

Thank you. I have "Alive" and love it. Yep, it's all about Anns voice and Nancy's looks. She does play well though.

Do you know when and where the Dreamboat show was?

I got the "Alive" show, Nancy is a great guitarist. Sure,Ann's a little on the hefty side, but looks and sounds great IMO for someone her age, she also plays the flute quite well.!

I think her age and size helps her sound better than she did in the 70s. She and Freddie Mercury could have done an awesome duet. She's got the power.

Sorry to be off-topic but I would like to also see some more Queen on blu. Wembley and Hollywood Bowl shows would be awesome, since you mentioned the late Freddie Murcury. I have yet to see the Queen+Paul Rogers concert.

I have the Queen Wembley DVD and it was a great show. I would love it on Blu. Queen was/is my favorite rock band ever since hearing their debut album in 1973. I was blown away. Sadly, the Montreal Blu-ray aint so hot. Freddies voice was "on" that night, but the camera work and the tiny stage didnt help the show.

It was recorded on April 17th, 2007 at the Orpheum Theater in L.A. (Oops, it looks like someone posted the info already -- I guess there's more Heart fans here than I would've thought -- woo hoo). I haven't viewed the dvd in quite some time, so I can't adequately comment on the performance itself (whether if it was more of an acoustic affair), or the vibe of the venue & audience that ev'g. And I agree, Nancy is still a babe....besides her guitar prowess, I love her decidedly silky & delicate vocals, which is a perfect compliment to Ann.

Thanks.

If it were not $20+ I would just grab it. I'm sure the ladies are great, but if the PQ and AQ are poor, I want to pass.

Hefty or not, once Ann starts singing, that's all I see and hear: that voice. Amazing.
I also have Alive in Seattle, which I like better than Dreamboat Annie, but they're both great concerts.

On another note, going to see them this Friday at the Greek in LA and The Bangles are the opening act. Gonna be a good show.

Heart is the show. I've seen them live before, worth the price of admission.

Gina Schock was in the Go-Go's. Debbie Petersen is the drummer for The Bangles, but you got the songs right.

Honestly Heart and The Bangles is a somewhat odd pairing. But I sure think Susanna Hoffs is nice to look at and she has a sweet voice.

I thought Hoffs was with Ming Tea now?, guess the other Bangles need some more cash! Sorry for the drummer mishap!

OK...I admit...I adore Susanna Hoffs.
She was indeed in Ming Tea, which was formed mostly for the Austin Powers movies because Hoffs husband is Jay Roach, who directed the films and is working on the fourth now.

And yes, Susanna is back in the newly formed Bangles (now a threesome-Michelle Steele, bassist, left the band for good).

Why do I know this?? It wouldn't even help in a game of trivia.

She's HOT!, looks kinda like Fran Drescher but without the annoying voice! That Jay Roach is one lucky guy!
