The sammy 2400 is already rumored to be dropped.
Having the new panny available is good news.

Forum member "TAU" at AVS has posted the preliminary specs on the DMP-BD30K....and it looks good.
HDMI 1.3b, Profile 1.1, dts-HD bitstream.
We'll have to wait another few days for the full press release though.

October 30th.

Does anybody know if the player will decode TrueHD and DTS-HD (I'm assuming no MA) or only pass it as a bitstream?

I have the DMP10a and love it. If this does DTS-MA I will then have my main player and the 10a will go into the bedroom. Final profile and DTS-MA, Dolby True HD bitstream are what I waiting for to buy my next player.

You've got to wait until October 30th to get the DTS-MA specs most likely.

You can guarantee it will have Dolby TrueHD decoding and dts-HD decoding.
