Sweet. I want a collection of all the Vacation films. Yes, including Vegas, which everyone hates on but I love.

I love the Vegas one too! I hope we get it on blu. As far as this collection set...it's the same disk as before right? Just different packaging and fluff?

I would love it if they made a massive Vacation box set.

+1 I like Vegas too, this was the only one that did'nt use the National Lampoon before the name, correct? I would also like some Police Academy films on blu as well!

Vacation boxset should happen, it's probably the only way I would ever buy them all. I thought Vegas Vacation had it's moments.

Exactly. It's all about Nick Papageorgio. From Yuma.

Ethan Embry had a good run there for awhile. He was good in Can't Hardly Wait and Empire Records too.

I too love Vegas Vacation, though I may be prejudiced since I live in Vegas. And yeah, I loved the damn dam scenes.

But what sets this Christmas Vacation 20th anniversary set apart from the older release? Is there any actual new "on disk" stuff, or just those cheesy trinkets that are packaged with it?

You're thinking of Devon Sawa actually. But Idle Hands is a fun flick. Seth Green and Jack Noseworthy are both pretty awesome.

haha that is a great board name to have on here. I thought Embry was good in That Thing You Do. Small part but he had his moments.

I could be wrong, but to my understanding, the disc content is identical to the last release.

Kinda like their UCE of A Christmas Story.

It looks like it comes in a green case like The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.

Sadly the "Dutch" DVD is now also OOP as is Anchor Bay lost the rights to it and many other Fox films they had rights to, including Licence To Drive,Nuns on the Run,Race With The Devil,Modern Problems,Dirty Mary Crazy Larry, etc.

I really want to get this on blu, but if it's the same as the other release it is a let down. It will prolly be worse then dvd. The dvd i have has an audio bit rate of 192kps. Now that is bad, If the blu-ray audio is the same, that is just reall sad.
