If it's a built-to-order machine, it will take a few days, as it takes time for Apple to build the machine for you. When they told you it ships in November, that means it will ship sometime this month. Has it been shipped already? If so, you can go to FedEx's website and enter the reference number. Most of the time, Apple uses your phone number (no parenthesis and hyphens) as the reference number. Otherwise, you can call FedEx and ask if you have any incoming parcels for you.

When I ordered my son's MacBook, it was shipped directly from China (where they are made). It only took about 3-4 days via FedEx. I saw one of the 27" iMacs at MicroCenter. Wow, talk about beautiful. Alas, no Blu-ray drive!!!!!! Perhaps you can get an external one. Do they even make a Miniport to HDMI adapter?

are they still having problems with flash on the 27 inch imacs? i remember reading some reviews that they have a few bugs with youtube videos and other flash stuff spiking the CPU usage to over 100 percent. It might be safari web browser too though.
http://www.engadget.com/2009/10/29/2...rmance-issues/ if they could add an Esata port and another internal drive to the Imac id love to have one. the one thing that is cool is you can hook a laptop up to it and use it as an external monitor via the minidisplay port.
