Ok guys I know that it is only the first day of the week, but sales at dvdempire were Blu-ray 80.95% and HD DVD 19.05%. If the numbers were reverse could you imagine the commotion here?

Just a few days ago Blu was in the high 50s --what a start!

And I just saw on HDnet a "Disney Blu-Ray" ad on TV for Cars, Ratatouille and Pirates Worlds End ". . . only available in HD on Disney Blu-Ray disc"

Wasn't too long ago that the numbers were 100% HD-DVD and 0% Blu-Ray... those numbers don't mean much.

This happens every week

However.....in every case so far...HD starts high and by the end of the week when the final numbers come our BR is on top.

It is interesting, while meaningless, that BR stated so high this time.

Yup, I remember the same thing.

That said, if you want to get a Blu-Ray online get it from here or someplace else. just not Amazon.
