Default Shipping: Amazon.com vs. Walmart.com

Im about to pull the the trigger on a couple pre-orders and was wondering who had better shipping for pre-orders? The options would be Walmart.com 2-3 day shipping or Amazon.com's 3-5 day shipping. I have only used Amazons super saver shipping in the past, so I was hoping anyone with more experience with these two could lead me in the right direction. Thanks.

Amazon prime, free two day shipping and $3.99 per item next day shipping is the best.

Walmart.Com has free shipping on media for the Holidays. So I'd go with them.

They also have some great prices right now. Just ordered Nightmare Before Christmas for $15.32.

The best part about the current offer is you don't have to wait for them to send it via Ship To Store.

So cds and dvds will be shipped free to your home from Walmart? That would make them much more competitive with Amazon for me.

How long does their free shipping usually take?

From my experience I would go with Amazon.

If you're talking about site to store with WM, it takes about 5 business days for your store to receive it. On top of that, not every dumb WM employee knows how to scan and check you out for site to store, and it's a possibility you'll end up waiting for someone to help you.

I have never had WM ship anything to my house since you'll end up paying shipping (I believe)

I got new released movies from Amazon in about 2-3 business days after the Tuesday release, and there was a time I received a movie from Amazon a month early prior to it's release date. Go figure.

I used to like WM when I started buying BD's, until everyone here uses Amazon.

yea then to top that off they never deactivate the dang door alarm thing

But for the holidays, WM has free home shipping so it may be better but they still utilize the USPS via Media mail
