Inglorious Bastards and District 9 perorder - Blu-ray Forum

Ive never preordered a bd before, but these are two of my all time favs and I think I want to preorder the special editions from Best Buy. Or should I just pick them up day one like I always do?

I still have to see both movies and I think I'll probably like them but I'm not preordering or blind buying. Just think about the replay value and ask yourself this: Am I gonna watch this again?

Well they will probably all be available on day one. However, I have Amazon so I pre-order my disks months ahead so that when they become available, they just ship right up to my house.

I have yet to see DISTRICT 9, but INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS is one of my favorite movies ever =)

there are plenty of OTHER threads on these two films - how about searching for them and checking them out before starting another ???

+1 me too. the effort they put into responding "use search function" is as much a waste of space on the forum as having multiple posts on the same subject when you could have just given an answer and it would be done with, then the thread would work its way down untill it falls off.

Ok, smartass. I was referring to the OP's question, and in general, the multitude of questions like it that get asked 20 times a day on this site. "What should i buy? What should i watch. What should i wear."

And actually, people who do what they want and don't listen to other people or adhere to the rules or social conventions are usually the ones who spur the most "progress." They can also do the most harm.

That's a good point: what should I wear to watch those movies? Do I need to wear something different if I rent them instead of buying them?

I agree with the OP, these are two of the best films of 09. The question I have is when will District 9 drop to $19.99?

Well... if you pick up these titles from Wallyworld, you could check out the latest 'fashions' there (latest in terms of last season). There could be some summer gear with logos from the last US election going cheap.

Since you will be saving a few $$ at Amazon - you could try ordering clothes online - and hope that they and you get the sizes correct.

Mmmm - strange that the original OP hasn't come back - have we 'decided' for him as yet ???
