WOW! The two available sections tabs (Smarter and Capacity) blew me away. They explained the PS3's advantage so clearly that a child could understand completely. The visuals were great!

Yeah, that is some good hype right there.

I am really looking forward to how this game stuff comes together - probably 2007 will be the year of the PS3 as games which take advantage of all of this become more common.

No it's because they advertise M rated games (Resistance).

umm... that goes hand in hand with resistance, correct?

after all, when advertising that game they do talk about the number of kills you have, shrapnel, and the like? am i wrong?

Lance Henriksen did the VO on the clips. Very nice. And the clips are well written too. Three weeks!

The PS3 is going to be THE console to own.

Anyone watch the World Series tonight? I'm pissed the Tigers lost, but anyway, saw a really weird Playb3yond commercial (during the game) for the PS3.

It was a baby sitting there in a room naked and staring at a PS3. The baby started to cry while looking at it, and then the tears got sucked back in the baby's eyes and then began to laugh.

It was one of those, WTF was that? kinda commercials, but memorable so it could prove to be effective.

Anyhow, just FYI. I'll see if I can get a video of it off the net some time soon.

i saw it too. for some reason i have it in my head as being a baby doll. but yes, def a weird ass commercial

There is one flaw in the capacity video. Microsoft is not using HD-DVD capacity for the games, just the regular old dvd capacity disc.

Maybe they know something we don't. I think Microsoft will start including an HD-DVD drive in their Xbox 360 by summer '07. Maybe this is Sony's way of implanting the idea in people mind that Blu-ray is superior to HD-DVD for gaming before Microsoft can start advertising their game storing abilities. ...just my thought on it
