Now I haven't read comics regularly since the 90s but who is Super Woman? I always thought Kara Zor-El's super-hero monikers were Power Girl and Super Girl?

Yes. Like every other DC Animated Feature. There's a small preview on the last one.

As a DC Comics fan, it's a foregone conclusion I'll pick this up, probably at Best Buy if they continue releasing these DC Universe titles with a mini figurine. The only one I don't own is the first one, Superman: Doomsday, before I joined the Blu-ray League of America!

I just read that title is an original story rather than an adaptation of any of the parallel earths stories published by DC in the past. Color me intrigued.

It's a bit of both. It's an original story, but based on elements from a few different comic stories.

"The premise of "Crisis on Two Earths" is borrowed from the 1964 Gardner Fox-scripted Justice League of America #29-30 as well as the 1999 Grant Morrison JLA: Earth 2 story, where a heroic Lex Luthor from an alternate universe coming to the Justice League for help against the Crime Syndicate, but it is not an adaptation of that story."

its about an alternate reality in which there is an evil version of the justice league, the evil version of wonder woman is superwoman, superman is ultraman, batman is owlman etc

I thought Bizarro was the evil Superman?

Anyway, looking forward to this. Superman/Batman: Public Enemies was pretty sweet. Is there any chance that the original voice cast is also used for this movie? I mean, I like the alternate reality stuff with different voice actors, but I'd prefer if they tried to fit everything in the same universe.

First day purchase. Hope it's as good as Green Lantern, and Superman/Batman Public Enemies were.

Cool! Vanessa Marshall is Wonder Woman. But to me, she'll always be Irwin from Billy and Mandy, yo!

I was disappointed they didnt go with the regular voice actors. One of the things I liked most was the consistency of using the same actor for each release.

But there AREN'T any regular voice actors. The only person they've used twice is Kevin Conroy (Gotham Knight and Public Enemies).

That's what they've been trying to get away from with these DCU movies. Each one is separate and exists in a universe all its own.

To be honest, Kevin is all I care about. He *is* Batman. Anyone else voicing him at this point just feels strange to me.

That said, I am very much looking forward to this release. I just wish they would put out more Justice League on Blu.

I can deal with that. I know it would probably too complicated to do correctly, but wouldn't it be great if every DCAU movies existed in the same universe as the animated series of Batman, Superman, the Justice League and Batman Beyond? You'd get complete continuity from that.

I know this is off topic (kinda) but that planet hulk on blu looks pretty damn sweet to. I wish both marvel and dc would do more of these animated movies. how about some dark horse and others too? i think they are great, we would be happy and they would make a mint! Lossless audio for all please!
