Science Fiction fans rejoice!! Ray Bradbury is marketing a 6-hour miniseries to television networks based on his short stories. The Martian Chronicles was one of my favorite books growing up

Nice! My man even has an asteroid named after him...how cool is that

I met him once and have a signed Farenheight 451 somewhere. He went to my high school, Los Angeles High School.

Martian Chronicles definitely deserves a better movie. Fahrenheit 451 was not a bad adaptation, but it too deserves better.

Cool, I always liked the old tv series The Ray Bradbury Theatre. Fahrenheit 451 was good, havent heard of Martian Chronicles. Now if we could go back in time and remake A Sound of Thunder I would be happy.

Yup, Frank Darabont is directing a remake of Fahrenheit 451, which is currently in development. Tom Hanks did have the role of Guy Montag but withdrew from the project due to conflicting commitments, so they are now searching for a new lead.
