Default I just bought Day of the Dead today...

Has anyone bought and watched this yet I am at work for another 4 hours and I was wondering how the conversion was for this film being that it came out after Dawn of the Dead. Any feedback would be appreciated.

It is oustanding. The picture quality really is amazing for how old the movie is. Anchor Bay really did a fantastic job with all of their Oct. 2nd releases. I am very upfront when I say that this is one of the most impressive release days I have seen in a while, all things considered. The movie is still the same unbelievable flick, the transfer really makes this movie stand out.

the movie it self is an awesome transfer, fully detailed and its a great horror selection. it's more disturbing than scary. it's a enjoyable movie, just don't eat anything before or during the final scenes

Cool

I read this and Dawn of The Dead are stellar transfers considering the ages of the films. You won't be disappointed.
