Well, when Wall-E finally went up last week, the French one had an active link, but the English one had an inactive link.

It will hopefully be up come 12 p.m. est

'...current features from the previously released blu-ray' will probably include another messed up preorder schedule.

I wouldn't be surprised if stock for the french sku goes live at 12pm, but the english one is delayed.

Might be a good guess. Has anyone Pm'd their customer service reps over there? If they get on this now, they might have the web guys fix it before noon.

From experience, posts to a website usually require a short window of downtime to do the update so I doubt they would do it in the middle of the day.

If I remeber correctly, last week, Wall-E was up, but never went live so they changed that time to 6pm EST, but the stuff was already there so that would just be a database change rather than a web site change

I don't remember the listing being up at all. I thought the link was broken the entire time - those pages didn't exist until just before 6 pm and went live moments later - just like what's happening now, I suppose, with the English version of the A Bug's Life.

That could be true that they were not up at all, it was a week ago, and on Wednesdays I start thinking about the follow release and block everything from the previous from my mind

The english Wall E page was not up at all until 6pm. For previous blu-rays the page would be up and functional, but stock would be 0 until the preorder actually started (like how the French Wall-e is appearing now).

I am positive they will screw this one up. Probably by having the french copies sell out at 12pm before the english page is even available.

From the FS forum sounds like it will be 6pm again, and they wont be releasing the french ones until the same time...

We're in the midst of publishing the steelbook and will be making it available at 6pm ET (both English & French).

They make it sound so literary - like the steelbook has to be printed and bound before they can to release it to the public.
