I believe I may make the Canada ones with the bilingual coverart so they can be different, but I am adding the Best Buy ones as I only have those in hand

anyone have an official print number of all Disney steelbook's?

i hear 10.000 each movie but who know's?.
as far as i know,we'll have to wait and see if they restock them once they sell out..

there is ton of best buy in US,some stores getting 10 copies of each,smaller best buy stores getting 5 of each...
Right now the way i see it...it could be sitting on the shelves for awhile like Watchmen,they are at least 30 sitting when i saw.

I don't think anyone will ever know how many of these were made... The majority of BB's seemed to receive 5 each so that's at least 7,000... Factor in stores that received 10 or 15 plus the Canadian copies and it's probably 10,000+ total...

I just placed my digital copy disc from the amaray version in the second spot. It looks complete and better that way to me now.

I used the extra space for the movie disc from my old 2-disc DVD set of this movie.

Anyone had the experience of modding their cases (switching one disc compartments to two)? If so, how much a pain is it?

I am planning on modifying my Fight Club German SB whenever I receive it.

It's merely an assumption, but it could be because of a surplus issue, but the problem is that if it was a surplus issue, then there would be some with single disc holders floating around also. I have not seen or heard of any (unless it was a customized version). My guess is that the reason A Bug's Life has a 2 disc insert is because the first release of A Bug's Life that came out in a plastic case included a second disc (digital copy), and I guess the order for the SteelBooks were going to include the digital copy disc, but something happened. It either got pulled or was never going to be included in the SteelBook to begin with.

There are two options you have.
1. The more complicated version is to swap the covers and spines with a double disc holder. The covers are easy enough to get off, but swapping the spines involves more work. You will need to boil the insert with the spine attached to loosen the glue and remove the spine with a dull edge carefully. Once the spines are removed, clean off any sticky residue, use double sided tape to re-attach the spines to the inserts you want, and snap the covers on.

2. The second option is to simply add another dvd/blu-ray hub that can be bought for next to nothing. They can be found on amazon, bags unlimited, and shop4tech. Just search for cd hubs. If you don't want to perform surgery on your SteelBook, just put one of these sticky hubs in to go from 1 disc to 2 inside the Fight Club SteelBook.
