When is DTS surround Coming to Buena Vista & DISNEY and Others I Know it's comes already with New Line & FOX when is Disney/Buena Vista Coming out with DTS Surround Track for the Blu-ray There is only one movie and that is Dinosaur (blu-ray) it would be nice if every movie comes with the highest quality sound. IT IS DTS SURROUND

Unless the audio encode is DTS-HA Master Audio, we are better off with uncompressed PCM. It is or is very close to the digital master of the original film. Very few players stream the highest level of DTS and only the newest receivers decode it.
That said, studios pick their audio and I don't know what Disney prefers. I don't know if/when we'll see Disney's stuff with DTS. Oh, welcome to blu-ray.com. |

DTA-MA is considered to be better then Dolby TrueHD is that right? That's sort of what I've been hearing from people, reviews, and such.
I thought there would be no difference in quality since they're both lossless and they're essentially just containers...what makes DTS-MA better? |

Personally, I like DTS-HA MA, once everyone can actually decode it. It gives those with high end home theatres lossless audio (without dialog normalization), and gives everyone else regular DTS... which is the best audio most people's receivers are designed to decode. Just my $.02. |
