Default So you're gonna buy a Blu-Ray Player...

I have read all the reviews of every product out there so far. Now I need physical input. What is the best one to buy?

I kind of like the new sony player but I am thinking about waiting for the third-gen samsung.

Maybe a PS3?

what has the fastest load times, features, overall value for the buck, PQ, etc.

can I get some input from the pros?

thx

Great question. I am wondering if there are some in the pipeline which will be worth waiting on (how long ro wait?).

For my money, the PS3 is the is BY FAR the best B.F.Y.B player out there. But I'm also a gamer so that factors in. The load times with a PS3, well... there aren't any really, so that's a plus.

ps3 or sammy 1200 becuase they will both be updated to profile 1.1 plus it gurenteed that your ps3 will never go obsolute in blu-ray

also ps3 has great pq and sq it also has 1 of fastest loding times

Buy one now. Enjoy the Blu experience! When a newer player comes out that you really want, sell your old one and upgrade. Or do what I'm planning to do and put it on another TV in your home.

I can agree that for the money, the new sony or the ps3. But if you are looking for the absolute best period...The pioneer elite BDP94HD is the best. The picture is even more stunning than either sony unit.

just hold out for the new samsung, also debate what your going to build around your tv and blu-ray player ,are you going to do surround ? build off what you have ,upgrade? are you ready for deep color and hdmi 1.3 ,do the research 1st talk to the guys here but if you get a player make sure its 24fps and hdmi 1.3
the ps3 is a good choice although i don`t have one i have the samy bd-p1000 1st gen player
