What a way to go out of the World cup to such an obvious cheat. And not only was it a hand ball but earlier Anelka dived in an attempt to win a penalty.

Yeah, I was at a bar just now after work with my boss, and they were showing the replay of that hand ball like 10 times on ESPN. It's sucks that the birth in the WC finals was decided this way.

There is a video there of the handball. It was handball yes.. But people are way over reacting.. The Irish are going to use this as an excuse to hide that fact that they should have won the game comfortably in normal time.. They only have themselves to blame.

Referring to them as 'heroic' and the others as 'villainous' is certainly blowing it out of proportion.
