Australia Braveheart *Confirmation

Hello.

Just bought Braveheart (B, AUS) today and can just confirm what the UK buyers have said, the previously cut 'throat-slit' frames are back in the film.

Transfer looks great btw.

Not the best transfer ever, but very solid and filmic, like The Last Samurai, but then sharper.
Great movie, the UK version (which I have) is indeed uncut, same like the other BD releases.

Don't get me wrong, this movie has never looked so good and it's almost impossible to ever beat that, but it isn't the best PQ I ever saw op Blu-ray.

What do you think is wrong with the transfer?

I won't call it ''wrong'', but there are Blu-ray's with a bit more depth and detail.

I don't complain about the transfer, but it isn't pefect, do you?

Default Braveheart

I watched the blu-ray version of this fabulous film a few nights ago. I was very impressed. In my opinion the transfer from the original is nothing short of inspiring - and I sit about 6 feet from my 50inch plasma Samsung! JG

I don't know what blu-ray these other guys are watching. I think Braveheart is superb in both PQ and AQ. I think it's reference quality.
Cheers,
Carcuss.

Don't worry, just think to yourself that he means ''meters'' instead of ''feet''
