Minor issue with my Onkyo 507 - Blu-ray Forum

Is it possible to change the display on my Onkyo TX-SR507 to read "BD" when I'm watching a Blu-Ray? Right now it reads "DVD" when I press the DVD/BD button. I realize it's a minor issue, but I appreciate any feedback.

I know it couldn't be done on the 605, so I doubt if it can be done on the 507. That little feature is probably only available in the higher models.

Just got my 607 yesterday and yes you can change them. Go into settings, then I believe it is option 4 then #3. An on screen keyboard will come up and you can change the display to read whatever you want.

I tried to follow your instructions Trip and couldn't make it happen. Maybe it only works on the 607 model and above.
